HOW IT WORKS |
It’s simple. Do you have a talent and want to make some money? PeopleStox allows you to connect with a huge network of fans and friends who are willing to buy fun Experiences.
There are two types of EXperiences, face to face and remote. Face to Face Experiences are unique services delivered in person, from sailing classes to gourmet dinners prepared by a chef in the comfort of your own home. Remote Experiences don’t require an in person meeting, allowing dreamers and fans to connect from different corners of the world. Some examples are design services, web programming and custom songs amongst many others. It’s Free to join!
GENERAL GUIDELINES
- You need to be a registered PeopleStox user to sell and buy. Registration is free.
- Sellers are called Dreamers in the PeopleStox Community
- Buyers are called Fans in the PeopleStox Community
- Services that are offered by Dreamers on PeopleStox are called "Experiences".
- A valid paypal id, or a valid U.S. mailing address are required to sell Experiences.
- There are four main sections in your account:
- My Profile Where you can enter your information to help promote yourself, upload a picture and enter your PayPal email to receive the proceeds of your sales. You can also choose to get paid via check, in which case you need to provide a valid U.S. mailing address
- My Store lists all the Experiences you are offering. From this menu you can delete, edit, de-list and re-list Experiences
- My Orders keeps track of all the Experiences you have bought. As your orders are in progress, complete or waiting for review, the status will change to help you keep track of all your transactions
- My Sales keeps track of all the Experiences you have sold. It provides a step by step process from the moment a fan buys your Experience until you deliver it and get paid. This is also where you submit your finished work and communicate with your fan.
- Experiences can be Remote or Face-To-Face
- Experience prices start at $5.
- Dreamers and Fans’ identity is anonymous. Do not request or provide emails to users on the site
- Dreamers may not accept payments from PeopleStox buyers outside of PeopleStox (directly through PayPal or any other service)
- Content on the site is moderated. Users posting, messaging or suggesting any of the prohibited subjects (as described in the End User License Agreement) will get their account blocked permanently
- You are encouraged to rate the transactions based on your overall satisfaction. Ratings would help the Dreamer to increase is level of trustiness
SELLING A REMOTE EXPERIENCE (DREAMERS)
Step 1 – Signup to create a profile in PeopleStox. It’s simple and free. The more information you share with your fans, the more chances of selling your Experience.
Step 2 – Create a new Experience by going to “Offer an Experience”.. Be creative and let your imagination fly. Set a price, upload pictures, add a description and tell your fans how long it will take you to deliver your work. Once you add an Experinece it will be available for your fans to buy it as many times as they want. If you want to de-list or edit an Experience, simply go to “My Store” where you’ll find a list of all your active Experiences.
Step 3 – You will get a notification when a Fan buys your Experience, and you can decide whether to accept or reject the order. Once you accept the order contact the Fan to arrange for the delivery of the Experience.
Step 4 – In “My Sales” you can keep track of all the Experiences you have sold, communicate with your fans and submit your finished work. Once you have submitted your work, PeopleStox will transfer the funds into your PayPal account within 24 hours. If you selected the check option, we will mail you a check on the next Friday
Step 5 – Fans will rate your work, and your Experience will be listed again automatically.
SELLING A FACE TO FACE EXPERIENCE (DREAMERS)
Step 1 – Signup to create a profile in PeopleStox. It’s simple and free. The more information you share with your fans, the more chances of selling your Experience.
Step 2 – Create a new Experience by going to “Offer an Experience”. Be creative and let your imagination fly. Set a price, upload pictures, and add a description. Be very concise in the “Redemption Instructions” field. This is where you set the rules of the game. You need to tell your fans the possible redemption dates and times, blackout dates, if advance notice is required and any other information regarding the rules to redeem this Experience.
Step 3 – You will get a notification when a Fan buys your Experience, and you can decide whether to accept or reject the order. Once you accept the order your fan will contact you to arrange a meeting to redeem her Experience based on the rules you defined.
Step 4 – Meet with your fan in person and deliver the Experience. The fan will give you an “Experience Certificate” once the Experience is complete. It is very important that you get this Experience Certificate; you will need it to get paid
Step 5 – Enter the code found on the Experience Certificate by going to “My Sales”. This will automatically trigger payment and you will receive your money in your PayPal account with in 24hrs, or a check mailed to you the following Friday.
Step 6 – Fans will rate your work, and your Xperience will be listed again automatically.

BUYING A REMOTE EXPERIENCE (FANS)
Step 1 – Signup to create a profile in PeopleStox. It’s simple and free.
Step 2 – Browse through the thousands of offerings to find that perfect Experience. To buy it, simply click on “Add to Cart”. You can pay with your PayPal account or any major credit card.
Step 3 – We’ll notify the Dreamer, and she has to accept or decline your order. If your order is declined, your money will be credited back to you within 24 hrs
Step 4 – In “My Orders” you can keep track of all the Experiences you have bought, communicate the Dreamer and receive your finished work. Once you have received your work, the order status will change to “Complete”
Step 5 – Rate the Dreamer! We count on you to keep all the members of our community honest and ensure top notch Experiences
BUYING A FACE to FACE EXPERIENCE (FANS)
Step 1 – Signup to create a profile in PeopleStox.
Step 2 – Browse through the thousands of offerings to find that perfect Experience. To buy it, simply click on “Add to Cart”. You can pay with your PayPal account or any major credit card.
Step 3 – Pay attention to the “Redemption Instructions” section of the listing. This is where the Dreamer will tell you the rules of the game such as possible redemption dates and times, blackout dates, if advance notice is required and any other information on how to redeem this Experience
Step 4 – Face to Face Experiences have an expiration date. Make sure that you can redeem your Experience before this date, otherwise the experience will be void and your money will be lost
Step 5 – We’ll notify the Dreamer, and she has to accept or decline your order. If your order is declined, your money will be credited back to you with in 24 hrs
Step 6 – If your order is accepted, we will notify you immediately. Go to “My Orders” and print out the Experience Certificate. You will need to bring it with and hand it to the Dreamer when you meet him to redeem your Experience.
Step 7 – Contact the Dreamer to make arrangements to redeem your Experience based on the rules defined on the “Redemption Instructions” field found in the Experience Certificate.
Step 8 – Meet with the Dreamer, enjoy your Experience and surrender the Experience Certificate.
Step 9 – Rate the Dreamer! We count on you to keep all the members of our community honest and ensure top notch Experiences
PRICING AND FEES
- Registration is FREE
- Posting an Experience for sale is FREE
- Experience prices are defined by the Dreamer. The minimum price is $5
- PeopleStox does not charge any fees or commissions to Fans
- PeopleStox charges 15% of the sale price to Dreamers. This fee covers credit card fees, third party payment processing and PeopleStox commission. If you sell and Experience listed for $100, you will receive $85 dollars deposited into your PayPal account with in 24hrs, or via check mailed to you the following Friday
- We send you your money automatically and instantly after you deliver an Experience. We believe it’s your money and you should get it immediately.

Paypal Supported Countries
If your country doesn't support receiving payments we apologize in advance, but we won't be able to send you the money to your bank accounts based on your paypal ID. You will only be able to buy Experiences. Please check back as paypal is often updating their coverage.
